At age 13, Darren Jones of Mostly Heads was already drawing his main character, Leon, over and over in the margins of his school notes. About a year ago he knocked the dust off this character and gave him some buddies. Now he has a whole community of people and animals without torsos. Next up is turning his comic into an animation.

Darren's a video director/producer/editor that hails from Texas originally, but now resides in Los Angeles. He just likes to put images on screens so other people can look at them. Obviously he's in touch with an ancient cave drawing relative, but instead of a chisel he moves a computer mouse around. It's lighter, and doesn't leave a calluses. Mostly Heads is produced in a 3d program.
